Saving Baby Corns
This baby corn needs help…and we are up to the task!
In previous seasons we had to walk each row of corn searching for and releasing each of these little guys with Snyder Loving Care. While walking and bending was great exercise, it was challenging to help them all through in a timely manner. Pulling corn plants up through the holes before they become sun bleached is an important step in maximizing the plants ability to feed itself through photosynthesis!
Meet ‘Penny’ our ‘Corn Pulling Pal’! Penny is a super efficient and safe way to get down low in the field and find our little friends in need of rescuing!
While it is still a relatively slow process, it’s definitely less tedious and we are thankful for another opportunity to steward our crop for you!
