Corn Is Growing!
Corn is an a-maize-ing plant! After just 5 weeks, look at this root development and plant mass waiting to stretch out! It’s a super highway of food production! The fibrous sweet corn roots will extend laterally more than half as far as the stalk extends upward, and the root depth is equal to the height!
If you look closely, you can even see the tassel forming. That tassel is a key component to making the golden goodness as it will hold the pollen that is essential in creating kernels! More on that soon!
