              At SNYDER’S SWEET CORN we grow only varieties that have been Snyder Family approved!
              During the late 80’s we began to make the transition from yellow corn
              to bi-colour (peaches & cream) corn.
              Today we grow and serve about 80 acres of the following
              NON-GMO sweet corn varieties:

              GOURMET SWEET AWESOME

              Because you asked for it…our main variety is Awesome!!

              Gourmet Sweet Awesome is a great bi-colour variety with Awesome flavour.
              It does have a quirky trait…it sometimes grows a sprout or tassel on some of the tips.
              This does not affect the flavour and is NOT an indication of maturity…just a quirk!
              GS Awesome can be stored in the fridge with the husk on for up to 5 days.

              GOURMET SWEET EXPEDITION

              To extend our sweet corn season, our new later day bi-colour variety is Expedition!!

              Gourmet Sweet Expedition is another great bi-colour variety
              with an extra sweet and tender flavour.
              This variety grows best in the later half of the summer season
              and we are excited to add it to our Summer Snyder family!
              GS Expedition can be stored in the fridge with the husk on for up to 5 days.
              Remember…DARKER=RIPER=SWEETE​R!!! Enjoy!

              Corn prefers to go in the fridge with its ‘clothes on’ and out of the bag! For ultimate freshness, keep the husk on until right before you cook it!
              I recommend cutting the silks off for storage and keep in the fridge for up to 5 days from fresh!

              On these very hot days try not to transport corn in the trunk of your car if possible
              as it will begin to cook and can alter the flavour of you corn!

              Our sweet corn is ALWAYS picked fresh from our fields the day you purchase it!
              Please be aware that while we have a rigorous sorting process, fresh produce can sometimes experience blemishes that are not easily sorted out
              by our careful inspections.
              This is why we put 14 cobs in our Snyder Dozens and 7 cobs in our Snyder 1/2 Dozens!
