My man knows how to thrill my corn loving heart! Some girls get flowers but I prefer cobs of corn!!!

Here nestled deep inside its cosy sheath is our first cob of corn! It may be small but it is definitely mighty as it has already decided how many rows around and how many delicious kernels might be enjoyed!

If you look closely you can even see the tiny silks shooting out of each individual kernel!

It won’t be long now until silks are visible down the row and ready to begin pollination!
