What’s this I see…a tiny cob of corn with even tinier silks!

Each little silk is connected to a tiny kernel and will keep growing just like your hair but oh so much faster! They are how the pollen will make it down to the kernels making them plump and delicious!

Meanwhile the tiny cobs will also continue growing longer but the maximum number of rows around has already been determined! This one has 18 rows around which is a-maize-ing! Also worth noting is that the number of rows around is ALWAYS an even number!
