Our farm family absolutely loves watching corn grow!

Some say to ‘stop and smell the roses’ but here at Snyders Sweet Corn our favourite thing to do is ‘stop and smell the corn’!!

But that’s not all we do…there is a lot of planning and care that goes into our crop to make sure it is positioned for success so we can have fresh picked Snyders Corn from when we begin harvest until we wrap up for the year!

There’s also a lot we don’t control…the very nature of creation is to grow and that is only by the design of our Creator! What a privilege to be a small part of the process stewarding the land, resources and crops that are being produced!

Even a small amount of rain is capitalized on by the corn at each stage of growth! The shape of the leaves funnel the moisture directly to the base of each plant so the roots can soak it in! Now that’s pretty incredible and truly something a-maize-ing to watch!
